I couldn’t play I LOVE ROCK AND ROLL and I was yelling at my friend “Give me a guitar, I can play it in a real guitar, it’s easy as shit… Fuck it” …and then my friend played some shred guitar song with the XBox guitar and I was “Well, that looks easier on the toy guitar”

As a black child whose mother wouldn’t let me watch mtv or vh1 I had never heard really any white music. My friend had rock band and it completely opened me to so much new different music than what I knew. I find it funny looking back that I rebelled by listening to Bon Jovi when most kids do by listening to like Punk music or something I really like playing Beat Saber in VR but most of the Vikings Girl Lip Baseball Shirt moreover I love this songs are trash IMO – I’ve found a few ones I’m okay with, and I bought a DLC for a group I actually like….but most of the music is intolerable modern rap trash and electronica (ducks for cover).
