I hate the supreme court too but the breakdown isn’t in the constitution it’s in our politics. Quite simply, republican obstruction and ineffective democratic 3rd way strategies led to republicans packing the court with liars and partisan hacks, pushed through by other liars and hacks. The constitution doesn’t say how many judges should be on the court. No joke, maybe there should be like 100 judges on the court. Maybe 500. Maybe every president should just pack the shit out of the court till judges start to retire because the job stops being about clout and power and goes back to being about interpreting the constitution and upholding the structure of the government.
