It would be hard to get that passed, but 60 senators aligned with one party isn’t hard to get if there’s a favorable election. Both party’s would be unable to put a justice in the Supreme Court that fully adheres to their beliefs, so the pick would have to be bipartisan. If a term limit does happen then it should be 30 years. Most justices are in their 40’s so their retirement age would be when they’re elderly. 70+ year olds can die from anything faster than the young and dealing with an absence in the Court is difficult, because a president has to find a nominee It would be easier to find a replacement if there was a term limit, because a president would have someone next in line.
