Re-do the The eras tour 2023 taylor swift with date trending shirt Besides,I will do this whole thing. I like the idea of life time appointments, but it’s obviously as vulnerable as the people who get them. So maybe instead of a monolithic panel we massively expand the supreme court over a set period, think 30-50 justices total, then have appointed rotating “terms” on the high court. A judge in their 50’s should maybe expect to participate in 2 terms. The judges that are off term could still contribute opinions and indicate how the law might evolve over the coming decades, hell you could even give them a judicial veto of sorts. Just my idea. We can solve all of this right now: Pass a law creating like 20 new Federal Appeals Courts and establishing multiple chambers of the Supreme Court like Spain’s. The Chief Justice becomes more of an administrative figure in this system, and the other 8 Justices get shuffled around to the 5 new chambers of the Court, where they are joined by say 10 new justices in each chamber, for a total of 59. Meanwhile the 20 new Appeals courts, along with the existing 11 (DC and the Federal circuit would stay the same) would be drawn and redrawn based on population, around 10 million people per court. This would more fairly distribute the workload of cases the appeals system has to deal with, and as a happy coincidence there’d be like 4 courts of appeals just for the state of California, all staffed by Democrats at its inception.

I disagree. Reddit is a great place to discuss this b/c you get a chance to see how many people are short sighted and have no idea how their proposals could snap back to hurt them years later. I’d prefer to see term limits on ALL government employees. If we limit the The eras tour 2023 taylor swift with date trending shirt Besides,I will do this president to 2 terms, why not everyone else? Or at least have a mandatory retirement age. Those in power are vastly out of touch. Speaker of the house has a refrigerator that cost more than the cars of most people in America. There’s absolutely no way that person can reasonably be expected to understand the issues of a common citizen. The justice department is a failed institution because they have taken political and religious viewpoints over upholding the law. Honestly I’d rather scrap the Supreme Court altogether. The people should be the ones determining what is law, not 9 partisan, unelected tarts.
