Not saying that age limits are wrong, but they clearly aren’t the Superhero amazing adventures of spiderman Marvel comic shirt and by the same token and only problem. The problem is people vote for morons, no matter how old the candidate is. Term limits for congress people just make the lobbyists the most experienced and most savvy person in the room. There’s no better way to give lobbyists more power than to impose term limits on congress. I used to want term limits for Congress. But then I realized that governing at the highest levels is a profession like any other. What I think would end up happening in a term limited Congress is that the staffers and lobbyists would be running the show (even more than they do now). And those folks that term out would get cushy jobs at the lobbying firms.

My opinion is that the Superhero amazing adventures of spiderman Marvel comic shirt and by the same token and better path is to work on reducing or removing the money aspect of politics. First step would be reversing Citizens United. Why is it that every other career is supposed to retire at 60/65, yet that’s the age of most of the members of congress making decisions? Ughhh If you want to be strategic as to where to send campaign contributions for the 2022 Midterms, I’d start with the Toss-Up races, three of which are Democratic incumbents. If all toss-ups go to the Dems, even Manchin and Sinema can’t stop Kamala Harris from breaking ties. If just 3 Toss-ups go for the GOP, abortion could become illegal in blue states. That’s what’s at stake. And how do you know there won’t be a new rotating villain coming out of the woodwork? Why, in the past 50 years, have Dems not already codified Roe? Doesn’t it matter what Kelly, Warnock, and Masto believe politically? People over 70 are basically unemployable in the real world, so why do we think they are the right people to make laws. Edit: just want to be clear that I am not calling people over 70 unemployable. I’m simply saying that the business world operates in such a manner. 4 of the 6 conservative justices were appointed by presidents that didn’t win the popular vote, and were confirmed by the senate which disproportionately favors rural voters.
