Do I think that I should have to help fund others? Not the way the government wants to do it. That doesn’t mean that I support banning abortion, laws going against trans freedom, or bringing church into the government.

The bipartisanship often leads to the Oklahoma pride sport baseball shirt but in fact I love this bashing of and categorizing of beliefs on both sides with no true discussion of what everyone’s beliefs really are. Also, having conservative beliefs doesn’t mean you support all of the republican party’s beliefs, and vice versa for democrats. Most people lie in the middle, and maybe one way left or right. Let’s stop ostracizing each other and learn to discuss and realize we are all on the same team. It’s those in power that are pinning us against each other. This is how I describe myself, but I mean: I want free healthcare for everyone and for them not to bail out failing banks that tanked the economy. I want to go back to the moon but not give the ULA billions of dollars to waste on absolutely nothing. I want to pay the men and women of our armed forces MUCH better wages and stop spending military dollars on failed projects by Blackwater and Boeing. I want private prisons outlawed. I want professional policing, I want to feel secure in my home but not at the price of uniformed thugs killing innocent people, and I understand that means some bad people will get away with things. I believe free markets can work, but not if we ignore anti-trust laws and let everything be run by a handful of corporations who don’t give a rats ass about people. I believe an employer should have the right to fire a bad employee, but they have to pay a living wage and they can’t just fire people because they don’t like who they are or how they live.
