Zuck is a geek, first and foremost. Dude, I’m not sure how young you guys are, or how little you read cyberpunk…. But I grew up in the Happy independence day snoopy woodstock america flag shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this era of cyberpunk. As soon as Zuck bought Oculus, I posted everywhere that he was going to build the Metaverse. Because that is exactly what the Metaverse was: an online social platform that added commerce and gaming to create a new, detailed virtual reality. I would guarantee that he read all the same books I did—this was a clear roadmap from day one. There’s a reason he was trying to create Facebook cryptocurrency, and it wasn’t crypto bandwagoning. Is anyone genuinely interested in engaging whatever monstrosity it is they are trying to build? I mean, Second Life was doing what it sounds like this is supposed to be ages ago. Who in their right mind wants to give any of their energy to anything associated with Zuck, given the manipulative data-gathering poison Facebook and Insta have been to the world’s sanity?

Don’t they pay really well? I’ll happily take a 4 hour a day job letting Mark yammer on about Metaverse to 6000 grand a month gross. I’m pretty good at zoning out, and robot alien boy is happy too. Obsession and tunnel vision has let him become a billionaire. Of course ungrateful Facebook employees who weren’t their for the Happy independence day snoopy woodstock america flag shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this grind are hating. Facebook isn’t a start up anymore. So inspired and motivated employees are long gone. Now just filled with spoiled kids from expensive schools. I honestly don’t know ONE person who gives a shit about this. Isn’t it just a glorified VR chat? Am I missing something? What’s so special? What’s the draw? I fundamentally do not understand. Came across an idea that they really are trying to plug us into the AR matrix. This was bolstered by claims that a lot of corporations are updating their logos and/or creating new ones to represent their commitment to that agenda. Typically a symmetrical or slightly asymmetrical construct where one half can be symmetrically transposed upon the other side (representing the alternate “metaverse”) e.g. an X, an 8, a 0, a corkscrew, etc.
