Just a 5-minute walk from Amber Waves is The Roundtree. The hotel, which opened this past June, is made up of a collection of quaint 17th and 18th-century structures. Rooms are located within The Roundtree’s main house and farmhouse but for further social distancing, couples and travel pods could check into a cottage. On the FIREWORKS DIRECTOR I Run You Run USA Flag Sunglasses T-Shirt and I will buy this grounds, which feed into another nearby farm, Balsam, you’ll find a great lawn, porches, and a neat row of baby blue cruisers which you’re encouraged to use to explore the many charms of Amagansett. No Nantucket holiday is complete without a trip to Bartlett’s Farm, the oldest and largest family-owned farm on the island. Behind the well-stocked grocery market (which carries Bartlett’s own products along with other local favorites) is a series of greenhouses where tomatoes and lilies grow. There are also rows of veggies and corn; out front, a cut flower field greets visitors. The events calendar, which usually features a daffodil festival in the spring and hay rides in the fall, is a little less robust this year, but its annual November event, Ladies Night, has been reformatted for the times. In lieu of a one-night shopping festivity supporting women-owned and local businesses, Bartlett’s is stretching the event out. Each weekend, the farm will host a different vendor, and proceeds from sales will benefit the Nantucket Food Pantry. “From teaching local children how plants grow and ‘pick your own’ events to community gatherings like Ladies Night, we always have and always will make it a priority to care for our friends and neighbors,” says Keegan Bartlett, the youngest in the family of farmers. This delightful hotel, part of the Life House hotel group which is continuing to expand (Denver and Brooklyn are next up), opened its doors to the island this summer. Located right in town, the inn-style hotel feels as though you’re the guest at the home of a friend—one who has superb interior taste. House of Hackney’s moody floral patterns paper the walls and a whimsical faux-tiger-printed rug runs up the staircase. The highlight of the space, though, is a little courtyard, which is filled with tasseled parasols and peacock chairs. There, you can enjoy the Life House’s happy hour—complimentary cocktails are served each day in the afternoon—and get to know your fellow Life House guests and the staff, who are just as full of personality as the hotel itself.

It’s late in the season but Solebury’s Pink Lady and Gold Rush varieties are still ripe for the picking this weekend. Spend the day in the orchard, where you’ll find a farmhouse-style market selling its seasonal produce. In the summer months, the cut flower garden located just outside is almost too pretty to pick. The orchard is located an hour outside of Philadelphia, where Fitler Club is a new addition to the burgeoning design and culinary scene of the city. Technically a members-only club, Fitler also operates 14 guest rooms which are filled with elements to please the discerning traveler: velvet upholstered seating, marbled bathrooms, and pendant lights aplenty. Dining options include a floor-to-ceiling glass-windowed restaurant overlooking the Schuylkill River, and an outdoor garden that come winter, will be transformed into an igloo village. Hotel guests also have access to club amenities like the work and workout spaces. There are several lounges optimized for business use (conference rooms, phone booths, outlets) and a top-notch gym with almost as much art as fitness equipment. Throughout, Fitler houses an impressive art collection (you’ll spot an Alex Katz and Rashid Johnson on the same floor) which is available for all to view via a digital 3-D tour.
